Standing behind the brand are Felix, Lena, Zoe, Taryl, and Lotte, who are connected by friendship, passion, and a shared ambition to rethink fashion.
It all began in 2017 when Felix learned to sew from his mother. In 2019, he founded the brand, initially operating under a different name, in the back room of his childhood home. When Lena joined in 2020, the idea evolved into a creative partnership. Together, they studied textile design at the University of Applied Sciences in Hof, deepening their knowledge of fabrics, cuts, and craftsmanship. What started as a small project has grown over the years: initial designs became collections, and the project evolved into a strong, close-knit team. We combine creativity, strategy, and execution while staying true to our roots.
Today, every piece is created in our atelier in Bayreuth, and we are proud to be Made in Germany. For us, that's not a trend but the core of Dettke: full control over quality, transparent processes, and true craftsmanship. We aim to offer an alternative to fast, opaque fashion. Our goal is to create durable, high-quality pieces produced fairly that combine contemporary design with longevity. Less, but better: clothing made to last.
At its core, Dettke is about more than clothing. It stands for authenticity, transparency, and fairness. We believe that no one should have to pretend, and that real connections are built where people share the same values. We experience every day how meaningful community is and how deeply we all long for it. With Dettke, we aim to bring together people who share our vision and will walk this path alongside us.
